Toowoomba is one of the largest inland cities in Australia and is situated 127km west of Brisbane on the crest of The Great Dividing Range, around 700 metres above sea level. Toowoomba has a temperate climate and experiences all four seasons giving it the well earned reputation as ‘The Garden City’. The Darling Downs is located just to the west of Toowoomba making it an important rural and agricultural hub.
Soak in the colonial history with a wander past Victorian facades and stately homesteads, and museums that will transport you back to the era of horse-drawn carriages. But veer off the historical walking trail and you’ll be met with a street art trail. It’ll lead you down inner-city laneways, unveiling an outdoor exhibition of contemporary public art.
